Surely policies being implemented elsewhere are of interest , since it is hardly beyond the realm of reason that AA might well follow it.

Agree 100%.

I am not a moderator ( ) but they do have the call. A difficult and generally thankless job, no doubt. We are still free to express polite disagreeance if we choose to. That closure was IMO not warranted, the only such thread I can say I felt that way about from Chuck. As was queried in the first post, I wondered what "follow on" effect there might be for United or other major airlines. Exactly what this thread expressed and it is not locked down.

If AA announced right now that there to be a $4 fee to use the on-board lavatories from December 1st, I would expect THAT would be of great interest to UA flyers. The way UA are whacking on fees recently, they'd likely follow suit, thus directly affecting me. So that new fee being posted in UA/DL/CO Forums etc would IMO not be out of line.

However, if AA announced one fare class NOT valid for upgrading on a VIPOW next year, or a change to black ourt dates for awards to Central America, minuteae like that would NOT be of general interest outside this Forum. IMO.
