I'd just say that November isn't far away and given the screw ups with the beta transition test (I think most agree that's what it was), we'll probably not get converted to M&M before then. I would get enough status miles to ensure you get renewed with BD*G and then think about what to do with the rest. M&M SEN is good for two years after all, you'd kick yourself if you missed out by a couple of weeks/months unless you can guarantee *G elsewhere first.

With so many unknowns it is hard to make a call. I'm in a similar situation, renewed BD*G in April and have 42k status on there as of now, so sorted for another BD*G year starting Apr 2011. That should see me M&M SEN this time next year (???), but M&M doesn't really suit my travel pattern so I'm thinking of jumping ship and crediting upcoming flights elsewhere, but then of course you end up with a lower opening M&M account balance and if DC hangs around, miss out on the great redemptions they have.
