They can't even if they want to, because CX and JL don't have that agreement, if JL lets you upgrade CX would have to PAY JL for that upgrade, no way that's gonna happen, sorry >_<

I think partner upgrade with miles is more common with *A, OW doesn't seem to have a easy solutino for that...and plus Asian Miles is no the same as CX MPC...so its even a longer shot =(
