The problem with any transcon service out of SJC is that it is purely O/D flying. Most of the other transcon AS stuff has the benefit of the SEA hub (or the PDX quasi-hub) on one end. LAX-DCA is really the only exception because SJC-AUS is also sold as PDX-AUS one-stop service.
