AA is tough to get multiple awards on. BA is very good I have seen as many as 10 F seats on a single flight.
Availability is so good on BA because there are a lot fewer BA miles than AA miles out there. There are fewer people with fewer miles chasing these business and first class seats.
Once TATAL BA flights are available to all, expect availability to go way, way down. I've been spending my BA miles as quickly as I can.
