i'm sorry but i am of the philosophy that if you can't afford a seat, you can't afford the trip. It makes me so mad that people are willing to rationalize away the comfort of strangers in the best interest of their own wallets- esp. on a flight of that length as if it's all about them


As a mother of a 3 month old and 2.5 year old, I think the airline should forbid car seats on board if the seat hasn't been paid for because I think it has snowballed into an outrageous sense of entitlement on parents' parts as if THEY deserve it because they have a kid whereas the tall dude who could use the extra legroom to "diagonal" his legs is less important or the next guy or the next guy, knowwhat I mean?

I am sorry if I sound mean, but you are looking to get somethig for nothing, and I hope you don't get it.
