As golfingboy said, its basically alacarte... but it was an inexpensive option for a friend to return back to the US on a OW ticket. And he was able to send me a postcard from in-flight (they brought it back to Iceland to mail it )

So it can be a good option to get to europe, but not sure it will be good redemption if looking for a premium product.
