Anyone else notice that tickets purchased with a promo code are only deliverable via paper ticket and not e-ticket?

I've tried to purchase tickets with two well-known promo codes; the only option given for ticket delivery is paper. If I try to book the same flight without the promo codes, e-ticketing is available.

Am I simply losing my mind? I noticed that ntmayo had a similar experience and was also using a voucher. (See http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum...L/012512.html)
