(A) Several guests fail to have all charges posted to one bill (sometimes because stupid agents alledge that this is not possible) and (B) several hotels then fail to post the correct bill (and post a zero-bill). Last x'mas I went with my family to Japan. Had 2 separate stays * 2 rooms at the Hilton Tokyo.
When I went to pay after the 1st stay, they gave me 1 folio for each room, ie 2 folios. I asked to have everything in 1 folio and the lady in the EL told me it was not posible.
In the 2nd stay there was no problem to have both rooms in one folio.
