Thanks for that information. It is a relief to know my luggage will be moved and I don't need to worry about it. How did you find about this interline agreement?


Delayed baggage which can become lost as i will not be at the city where I will be landing. I will be landing in Mumbai, but then taking a train from there to another city so if my luggage comes to Mumbai after a day, I will have left the city so the airlines may choose to discard it.

Most if not all full fledged airlines hv interline agreements.. I am aware atleast for ur flights that they do checkin of luggage till BOM, BUT its always better to give them a call to confirm in US.. I would suggest you also reconfirm the same ..
Yes, since u r taking a train, its another story.. Check out some travel insurances ( which u shd hv even otherwise) and they normally hv delayed baggage compensation covered..
