I just experienced the same thing. Found a great fare on kayak for STL-LIM for $526. Bookable on Orbitz. Delta has it at $200 more.

Wouldn't be a problem except I want to change an already purchased itinerary to pay for the trip.

My eyes almost popped when I saw the fare and then I get the "Ouch" message when I clicked through to Delta.

I'm gonna call and see if I can make it happen. Of course, I don't really expect that it will help.

Has anyone had any luck getting Delta to match the Orbitz fares by calling?
