So instead of asking for a supervisor, you did the passive aggressive thing and ran off and posted on a travel forum? Quite frankly, who cares what they ask you. Unless you're doing something bad, they're going to let you in. Why would 4 basic questions like that make you upset. I'm guessing that there might be something you're not telling us in between question 3 and 4. It's odd that the question would take a right turn like that.

I cross the border a lot. The customs person can sit there and ask me questions for an hour. I really don't care. Quite frankly, I've heard plenty more horror stories about Canada customs, even for those carrying Canadian passports, than I have about US customs. It's odd that you should be an exception like that.
