I finished my box of gum mastic preserve in less than a week. I ate it like nutella (without a spoon!) So yummy!

I tried buying gum mastic from grocery shops in Istanbul but I must be pronouncing it wrong, because the shop keepers always bring me a carton of milk instead! I'd like to buy some gum mastic to make Turkish ice-cream. Do you have any idea where I can buy some in Istanbul? Or is it more commonly found in grocery shops in Greece?

I started on my last box of Turkish Delight last night. Mastic flavoured. I must go back to Istanbul for more. Next time I would fill my suitcase with even more sweets!

Istanbul is very pretty and photogenic and I plan to go back to take more photos.
