That's definitely a model work taking a longer look at, and the sort of recommendation I was looking for - thanks! I'm not in a huge rush so it may be worth waiting for the LX5 (or to see if Canon revs the S90 at Photokina, although with a specialty model, a one year life cycle would be a little short.)
