I also pack a ~9' extension cord - not just for sharing those elusive outlets in the airport, but when in a hotel room and I want to work in bed with my laptop power supply and the nearest AC outlet is across the room!

Yeah, I see those people all the time that have an iPhone plugged into the AC outlet and their Mac plugged in the other one - ummm.. how about using the USB on your computer?

Oh, you can't hear me with your headphones on....
