I have the Garmin 755T, which I am very happy with. It has a 4.3" widescreen, it speaks street names, has an integrated MP3 player, and it has free traffic data. According to the website, it is supposed to work where I live in Vancouver, but I have never had any traffic data come up here; only in the US. The thing I like about this unit is that I have my music loaded onto an SD card inside the Garmin, and the Garmin is plugged into my car stereo using the headphone jack. So it plays the music, and then when it wants me to turn somewhere, the music pauses and the directions cut in.

I purchased it from GPS Central, a company based in Alberta. The shipping was very reasonable - I think it was about $10. It is currently on sale for $185. I also purchased a refurbished Portable Friciton Mount for $12.95. I was very skeptical that the mount would not tip over, but it works perfectly.
