Maybe they are reluctant to share such information
- for competitive reasons
- because they are contractually obligated to "silence" by Costco
- because it's subject to change (and we all know how the "change" in end date for the fast track promo was received here)
Personally (working for an even larger company than Hyatt), it doesn't surprise me that for whatever reason it's difficult to get them to offer information about their future plans. Too many levels of bureaucracy that need to agree. But I don't worry too much about it. I have about $5k in the safe, which is probably going to cover me for this year and next (assuming some award redemptions). If they told me today that they'd stop selling in a month, I don't think I'd run out and get more. Too many things can change to "invest" more money.
