LF - there has been a huge amount of availability this summer, particularly to NY. I picked up LCY-JFK a couple of months ago on a 2-4-1 with only 4 weeks' notice - there was availability all over the place.

Clearly, now the "strike" is dying, things are back to normal...

I too dislike his "breathless" writing style - sounds like something you would hear from a pay-for-my-training-programme-and-become-a-millionaire marketing type.
