Looks tasty - will they bake a little bit of spicy gardiniere in with it? You know, like they do at Lou's on request?

Thanks. At first glance, it appears the brown line is the line for good pizza. If I don't walk over, MerchMart is the stop I take for Lou's, you've confirmed that it's the one (or one of them) for Bacino's, and a quick map glance shows me that it may be the one for CPaOG posted above.

I've walked around those and other neighborhoods at all hours alone and never had a problem, but on the other hand I know a couple people who were robbed at gunpoint in the middle of Lincoln Park. So yes, odds are one could walk anywhere and be fine - but it's still a big city and one should exercise big city precautions.
Always the truth. The hardest part is knowing which neighborhoods to avoid completely.

Here's a completely random thought/tip for travelers to any place where they will be using an underground mass transit - bring a compass. by the time you actually get back to the street, you will probably have no idea where N/S/E/W is. A quick glance and you're good to go.
