Need Advice: See London in the rain?
Hi Flyertalk!

I was hoping I could get some advice about attractions in London area

Next week I am flying from JFK - LHR - ADD. I have a 10.5 hour layover from 10:30am to 9pm in Heathrow and originally had planned on going into London and taking a bus tour, or going to see nearby Windsor. However after checking the local weather I see it is projected to rain rather heavily on the day I arrive.

I might change my plans for indoor activities, like going to a museum. I love art, but I'd be more interested in learning a bit about the history of the city, since I know virtually nothing about it.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
