I cannot imagine why getting a refund is so complicated with DL.

I did get a response from customer care saying it would be taken care of within the next 10 days. If not, then I will dispute the charge with AmEx and notify DL that because they can't get their act together and do a simple credit of $20 within a reasonable time I have had to dispute the charge with AmEx.
