VERY VERY happy. Only had to book 2 more return trips before 3 Nov to hit Gold (I flew out to HKG last year on 3 Nov). Got a same day return for 1st and 2nd Nov so that will get me there. Plus it's my birthday on the 2nd so maybe in combination with hitting Gold I can try to persuade @airpointsfairy to let me sit in the jumpseat for a take off or landing.

Question: Seeing as though my AKL-HKG points from last year will drop off on 3 Nov, will I still make Gold if my AKL-WLG-AKL status points don't post until after then, even though they were flown BEFORE 3 Nov??
