It looks like you landed around 1:00am ET and they didn't have a new plane and crew off the ground from ATL until 11:00am ET. I'm sure there's a lot involved mobilizing a crew and a new airplane, but they had to know of the diversion to YYR even earlier than 1:00am. I'm somewhat surprised that it took 10+ hours from the time of notification to get a new plane on the way to you. Hopefully they give you a lot more than just the miles for the original flight.

Did they let you through Canadian immigration and customs at YYR? Are you free to move about (out of the barracks)? Would be a brutal delay if confined. I'd be interested to hear what your time at YYR was like.
