I don't think 10 B,C,D, or E have more legroom. I would definitely try for 10 A or F, and not care how many people I bothered. I've only gotten stuck in 9D once (cancelled flight), and I wanted to kill myself. My girlfriend was right behind me in 10D, and she complained about not having any space, either. So, you may have the perception of more space, but in reality, you have none. The lady in 10F was happy, though, as she could stretch her legs all the way out!
