Fuel surcharges should be forbidden. These are deceptive and if you need to adjust your fares then so be it, but no surcharges. How in the world is one to compare a fare on AA and AC that's advertised at $300 when in the fine print it may say surcharges apply (most people don't get to the fine print but are attracted by the advertised price). By the way if the point of Websavers is to sell last minute seats that would otherwise go empty why raise the cost? To discourage sales?
