On the trip I just finished, on two of the sectors, the Purser asked if I would not mind swapping and working Club by my self so she could work in Traveller, which was fine with me. Meant that I had to do the flight crew meals and drinks, so was in and out of the flight deck for the two sectors. I have done it before, but when someone else was there, but trying to balance 2 meal trays, 2 drinks and a bread basket with one hand, whilst pushing open, going through, turning around and closing the flight deck door was quite a task! In my mind, I kept thinking... "Don't drop any of this on the centre console... don't... don't... don't...' And I did not, thankfully! At least on the Airbus, there is no step up or down like the 757 and 767...

However, I am learning to be wary of what drivers leave on the floor... A few times I have nearly gone tits up when slipping on the Tech Log which has slid back along the floor during take off...

Anyways...
