So why should we tolerate the same type of false claims regarding consumer products on airplanes from people who don't know what they are talking about? We should not.
Speaking for myself, I don't believe I made "some ridiculous false claim" about electrical equipment in aircraft. I have made 2 claims:
A: that electrical devices, and this particular case, an iPod, create electromagnetic interference, and
B: that interference is negligible.
Both of those claims were confirmed in the FDA report you posted.
I do understand that my first post was a little vague, but I haven't claimed anything that was a blatant lie.
