I was exploring the same until 2 weeks ago, since I had some free hotel nights. Almost zero-availability in C, 1500$ taxes for 2, 850$ flight transfer and the prospect of spending ~1000$ on-site for 6 nights made us give up, and head for NYC during New Year's Eve

I read some conflicting posts about costs on-site, and we decided to try Maldives in few years, when there will be more cash in the pocket.

Back on-topic, I wish a very nice trip to all managing to find availability for the VIE-MLE flight, even in Economy!
