I flew MS a couple of years ago in J – BEY-CAI-JNB.
BEY-CAI was an unremarkable short haul business class – old wide seats with lots of padding but no legroom. The meal was a cold platter and soft drinks.
Transit at CAI was chaotic and uncomfortable but this may have changed since then with the opening of a new terminal.
CAI-JNB had large seats but they did not lie flat. If you were in a window seat and the passenger in front reclined then you were stuck in your seat. It was awkward. The IFE consisted of overhead monitors endlessly playing MS adverts on a loop. The food was no better than I would expect on an economy long haul flight and as others have noted, the airline is dry.
So, in conclusion, the MS business class product was large seats and economy service.
