I'm glad you were able to resolve the problem. I can see how this might happen since there is no consistency as to when the properties claim the award nights, making it difficult to determine how many you actually have available. In auditing my account detail recently, I discovered one of my Big Welcome (not Big Welcome Back) awards was attached to the reservation of someone I don't even know at a property I was not planning to visit! That's how I learned that those awards (unlike the BWB) are actually transferable.
