if the wording is "The *G benefit says 1 extra bag or 20kg extra", one may argue that inorder for you to get something extra, you need to have intitlements to the base component (i.e 1 bag), before you are entitled to any extra?

out of interest, with JQ/DJ, if you are equivelant of Gold membership (or higher if applicable), do you get a free bag on a seat only fare?
