Improved service - No, Jeff cut 600 call center reps, trying to charge for meals at meal time, no longer calls back customers who write or leave him a message, got rid of pillows and blankets, and will plan to cut back at key hubs.
Thinks he can get United to CO standards - not possible in 1 year, 3 year, or 5 years. It took so long to build the great culture of caring at CO that sets it apart from other airlines. Post merger, we are in an oligopoly, there's no incentive to fight for our business. In fact, they can bully passengers around after the merger and we will not have a choice.
I guess you haven't noticed that at UA they answer the phone. Yes, many times the person is in another country, but they do answer the phone.
