I just landed at PVG T2 on a BA flight and transited through to T1 for a Korean Airlines flight. I am on a British passport with no visa. Very polite and efficient immigration - collected bags - 10 minute walk across to T1, check in and off to departure gate. Whole process gate to gate took 1 hour but I was not hurrying.... you could do it in about 30 minutes.

Make sure you have a copy of your electronic ticket - don't follow signs to transfers, you need to go through immigration. The regular immigration officer needed a supervisor to endorse my passport, it was all done very efficiently.
