My experience is that whatever physical card is swiped is the card that will be charged regardless of what is on file. The use of a physical card is intended to combat fraud.

Temporarily approved? What is that? Did you apply at a hotel and they gave you the number to use right then?

When I applied online, I dont even recall getting a number. I may have gotten the last 4/5 digits and thats it.
