That's a bit unfair. If "Priority" bags come out last, (First, Club, Gold, Silver, OW Emerald OW Sapphire OW Ruby are classed as "Priority" baggage and even if priority tags aren't attached, the loaders' computer tells them) it's because the "bins" were incorrectly loaded at the outstation. It could also be because there were too many "Priority" bags for one bin, and the receiving loaders didn't realise the second bin was also "Priority".
Since moving to T5, the baggage and loading staff really knuckled down to the job of delighting our customers. Gatwick's loaders have always worked hard to please as well. Indeed, without the co-operation and willingness to help of the baggage/loading teams from both T5 and Gatwick, T5 would never have worked properly.
Trust me, the chaps really do try to get everything right for you, and if the "priority" system doesn't work properly, it isn't their fault!
