Greetings from this FT newbie to everyone on this wonderful thread!

I wanted to hear everyone's experiences of visiting the flight deck post-flight. Are the FAs generally receptive to this? Are the crew happy to see you?

Many years ago when I was at school, I was often taken to the flight deck during cruise and enjoyed having a chat with the crew and having my Skyflyer's log book signed!

Obviously, it is not that simple anymore.
