In addition to colleagues from T5 and Gatwick customer services, I am rubbing shoulders with an Engineering Manager, guys from the hangars at Hatton Cross chaps from Cardiff's Engineering base etc. all united with the common aim of helping British Airways to maintain a service and secure jobs.
Ironically, one of our trainers is ex-Flyglobespan - the airline that went bust last year - the recession's first UK casualty in this business. Most of his cabin crew colleagues in Scotland are still out of work to this day. It makes you realise how fortunate we all are at the moment!
