I now have the opposite story. I am at the SC in LAX and was walking down the row. A gentlemen asked me if I needed power and said there was one behind him. I assumed he was packing up to get on a plane but it turned out he only needed it for a second and moved to another seat to give me access to power. I have a netbook adapter that has the USB plug on the side so I only need one plug. Kudos to him.

Of course next to me is a lady charging her iPad and iPhone using up all the plugs on the next wall.

Update: Thanks to her being a loud talker and apparently having a ton of friends, I found out she is on a layover to Sydney (in Y). So I don't begrudge her one bit of powering up her toys.
