The thing is, a K class (choosing a low class for an example) would technically earn nothing on a Tasman flight, as it's classed as a Smart Saver. However, I'm curious if it would earn something because it's combined with a NZ-US sector, if credited separately (together they would both earn under the journey concept).
However, if earning separate sectors (e.g. BNE-AKL, AKL-LAX), if the segments credit separately, would one earn the $30 on BNE-AKL or nothing?
