The Manager promised to follow up but never did, this week I contacted the Hotel again to get an answer, I also demanded some GP points. He replied they cant compensate points and would upgrade me to a suite next time I stay. Sorry, but my stays at the Hyatt OC are never more than 10 hours at max. For that I dont need a suite. Will escalate my complaints to Hyatt Corporate now since the hotel doesnt seem to work on it (as we can all see by the reports here).
I had an issue at this hotel earlier this year where the hotel resold my room and another guest attempted to enter while I was sleeping (hotel apparently believed I was only checking in and leaving). Hotel gave me GP points without question -- I think you are getting misled by whomever is telling you no points can be given.
