Quite a few airports in the US have different lanes; Family, Casual and Expert traveller lines at security. One of the few sensible things the TSA have done.

At most places the system is actually well observed, although it does make it infuriating when grandma and grandpa who haven't travelled since before the war are taking their grandkids away and don't see the signs/ignore the signs/don't know what the signs mean!
