I try to accrue miles on United. Must travel 7/23-7/25 from BDL to CLE. Nonstop on CO is $350 and is about 950 miles, and through Star Alliance i can get them for United.

My schedule isn't particularly tight on either going or coming back days (need to be there by 4pm on 7/23), so I'm wondering if there is a good value for some kind of multi-connect MR I could do...as long as they're all Star Alliance airlines, I can mix airlines and still get everything toward United...any thoughts on this?
