ditto, my titanium screws in my shoulder, collarbone and shoulderblade dont set the detectors off but for some reason my legs (which have no metal in them) often do!
My watches and belts nearly always set the detectors off so I always take them off.
I do get really hacked off when people rock up to the security queue (after jobsworths have decided to put them in the priority lane) and seem suprised by the whole scanning affair, despite signs littered everywhere.
