I stayed here several times last year for work on Priceline rates (and without status), but even the most basic rooms are pretty nice and spacious.

As far as hotel restaurants go, Roast is quite good. And their happy hour deal (if it still exists, $3 for small plates and certain drinks) is a steal. You can have a full meal just by ordering three of them.
