Hello - wonder if anyone on the board can offer any wisdom:

Was looking at the following LONE3 schedule:


LHR-GCM-MIA-LAS-LAX-SFO, YVR-NRT-MNL-HKG-BKK-SIN-LHR

I noted however that if I route my flights to start from Hungary I save GBP200 on the ticket price arbitrage and if I ticket with Malev I can save GBP250 on the fuel surcharge. I was thinking of using this saving to upgrade to PE on the SIN-LHR flight on QF9.

Is there any disadvantage to issuing this type of ticket with Malev? I'm a BA gold if that makes any difference.
