125+ flights on AA (both real AA and a lot of AE/AC) - anyway...

At least 3x, I have been told I MUST relinquish my drink prior to takeoff. Wham - there goes my $4 frapp.

The rate is small, 3 out of 125+ but since I'm bitc**ng anyway - the real annoyance for me is the look I get from the FA, where s/he is implying that I have no clue as to standard operating procedure. That's the real frustration.
