There was no points availability on the return leg in either class, and no F on the outbound. So I ended up getting a Y points seat outbound. One-way the (money) cost difference between Y and F was huge, so ended up getting Y for that as well. Had the money cost been closer I may have put up for the return leg, but from memory it was ridiculous premium for a 2 hour flight and based on what you guys have said, certainly not worth it. Not like its a huge problem, F would have been a treat, Y is normal for me.

I'm planning on doing a TR, especially seeing that info seems a little sparse on CA.
You'll be fine. Like I said upthread, accept your crappy seat assignment and poach the bulkhead aisle on the right side. I've never failed to grab it.
