Braindrain is correct that this is the correct design and will perform differently after it is packed. I the past, and current cheaply made, wheeled uprights stood completely vertical and would have a tendency to fall forward when you took your hand off of it. You find this tilt feature on almost all your better luggage. In fact, the Travelpro Crew 7 has extenders on the feet to exaggerate the tilt when needed. Did you find them on yours?
