It's absolutely true and shouldn't be scary. Rarely does a day go by where there is not an in-flight shutdown, most of which are initiated by the crew due to the abnormal operating parameters within the engine.

With the rash of CX mechanical problems recently I hope CX management will take a serious look into HAECO, who does all CX flight maintenance.
They do not do all CX engine maintenance.
