It depends on your status.
If you are a PM or a DM then the chances og an E-UpGrade are very good.
However, again depending upon the day and the time of day you are travelling ie say Monday morning flight - then the chances for an elite upgrade would be less.
MSP-SFO is an Elite Heavy route.
Personally, I would never spend miles on this sector to get an upgrade - usually would get it free. The times I dont ... then I just buy a sandwich at the Sandwich shop in the food court at MSP or from Subway at MSP near G Gates/ just poutside the SC, and take it on-board.
